I really should have posted this yesterday, but unfortunately another project took precedent…

This month’s reading list is not necessarily a ‘best-of’ on the topic of 9/11. With books on religion, the novel, and culture at large, this compilation is focused on specific instances of 9/11 influencing seemingly unrelated media.

There is no ‘conspiracy’ content in this series. These books and essays are quantitatively normie material. The focus here is to think of how other people think when it comes to absorbing and repurposing something quite culturally dominant.

I wanted to keep this focused on the idea of manipulating events to make them fit another narrative. I wanted to ensure that these works will make you, potential reader, consider the act of writing about something witnessed and unresolved.

After all, we’re in the middle of another ‘this changes everything’ moment with some virus or whatever - right?

If nothing else, read the Spirit of Terrorism and Terror and the Sublime in Art because they are both valuable beyond the topic of a singular day in September.

Download is available for a week.

God bless,

Fraud
